PDCS Inline Duct Silencer provides noise cancelation/reduction to upstream/downstream process fans by absorbing and splitting the sound wave transmitted through an exhaust duct network resulting in a lower measured air noise and transferred vibration. Values achieved are depending on the noise type generated and the wave pattern/frequency formed. It does not take into consideration other factors which may conribute to the over all sound level. This may include noise from the motor, casing, duct or other equipment. Pressure drop does not take into account system intake or discharge losses. The silencer construction is valid for temperatures equal to or less than 500 Deg.F.
