All ECT dust collectors feature reverse pulse jet cleaning using either a manual push button activation of the pulse valves or an automatic differential controlled controller panel that senses the differential pressure across the filter. As the filter gets dirty, the controller reads this pressure differential and will activate the cleaning of the filters using reverse pulse from the compressed air supply tank, to flush the filters clean of any built up particles. These particles are shed from the outer surface of the filters and fall down into the collection pan or drum below. This will occur automatically or manually as the systems main fan is still operating pulling in more particles.
